Daily Draw — June 2, 2012

What a week that was! It felt like the days were ringing through my head on a speed dial, and I couldn’t be happier on Friday evening. I kinda feel guilty for not posting anything on this blog for a while… Oh well.

I did continue with my Lenormand practice, and drew cards everyday for my husband and myself. Again, I do not have enough synonyms for the word amazing to describe how accurate this system is. But I haven’t had time for my Cartomantes Cabinet studies. I was able to resume my learning only last night, and I hope to go through Lesson 4 concerning the 9X9 Spread this weekend. As a Lenormand fiend studying this “building block” spread makes me very excited!

In any case, I figured I’ll have enough time to share my daily reading from this morning.

Here goes:

Clouds + Moon + Stork + Ship + Clover

The Stork is a key card and denots movement and change. The combination of Moon + Stork + Ship is a classic message of promotion and often relocation. Since it’s a daily draw, I feel that it is an uplifting message about my work / career situation. This make me very happy because there has been a confusing and stressful recent development (Clouds + Moon) relating to my husband’s and my current work situation.

The Ship + Clover make me feel like a small wish will be granted — I think it relates to a package I am expecting to arrive by mail.

With the Clouds mirroring the Clover I feel that anxiety and stress are going to continue tricking my Gemini mind today, like the sun that is hiding behind the clouds on and off today.

Finally the Moon and Ship reinforce that positive change is coming. I am also wondering if this change is going to touch ground on the upcoming Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse, which happen to manifest on my birthday this year.

Homework: Daily Reading — May 10, 2012 — “The fish stinks from the head”

Time: 6:50 AM

Weather: 46 Degrees, and sunny. Seems like it’s going to be a warm day.

Cards Drawn: Clouds + Tower + Scythe

Key Card Focus: Clouds

Keywords: Confusion / Complication + Lonely / Official + Final / Aggressive

Clouds + Tower + Scythe

Prediction:

This is going to be a day of complications and confusion. Doesn’t seem like a particularly good day, considering that 2/3 of the cards are negative, which consequently paints the neutral card (Tower) negative as well.

Feels like the main blow will come from work, since The Tower usually comes up in a daily reading around this concept for me.

Also, since the Scythe relates to teeth, and the top of The Tower in this deck kind of looks like teeth lets me understand that my toothache is just going to get worst.

Time: 09:50 PM

Accuracy: 90%

What Happened in relation to the cards:

This was indeed a crappy day. First of all my general physical condition got worst. My tooth is really hurting, and I am even more congested. Apparently, one of my students has been coming to school with Mono for the past two weeks, so I am at high risk for getting it. Also, while keeping the medial theme going, I saw my burn specialist this afternoon. This meeting made me feel quite upset because: (1) He was almost an hour late for the appointment; and (2) though he agreed that I absolutely need a compression garment, he couldn’t offer any help in regard to dealing with insurance. I despise the medical / insurance system in the US — in this arrangement the patient’s well being is really not a priority.

Finally, on the work front, I learned some disturbing news that proved yet again of the dirty politics that’s going on there. As we say in Hebrew, “the fish stinks from the head,” meaning that management is the nastiest part of a corporation, and if something is going wrong the leadership positions are the most responsible for it — unfortunately, they’re usually the least accountable.

Observations:

The Clouds, being the key card has definitely set the tone for my mood today. Things felt uncomfortable and depressing. The Tower + The Scythe seemed to represent medical issues (especially visiting a sergeant’s office, and dealing with toothache. They also added layers of loneliness and gloom.

Daily Draw for April 14th, 2012

For today’s daily draw I decided to pull 9 cards from my new Pixie Lenormand, for a 3X3 block. And also drew 2 cards from The Victorian Flower Oracle. Here’s what I got:

Daily Draw from Pixie Lenormand & The Victorian Flower Oracle

The Victorian Flower Oracle

Problem: Thistle / Threat

Solution: Tulip / Propserity

Lenormand

Book — Ship — Clouds

Anchor — Flowers — Tower

Bear — Lady — Cross

Today’s Daily Draw

Todays daily draw was pulled last night; again, before going to sleep. I used the Silent Tarot along with the French Cartomancy deck. I also pulled from the Postmark Lenormand to see how it will feel alongside the French deck.

From the Silent Tarot:

King of Heart — 7 of Hearts — The Sun

Lenormand:

Cross — Fox — Clouds — Storks — Mice

All I can say, dear friends, is that any reading starting with a Cross and ending in Mice can’t foretell of good omens or positive events. Yikes!
