Daily Draw December 16, 2016 -> סיט
Creating a miracle generally isn’t simple, foxy. It is the hardest when you feel down though; and especially so when you feel neglected, unloved, lacking in blessings, or lonely. Ironically, it’s when it’s most difficult that we need a miracle the most.
Although receiving externally generated miracles is undeniably awesome, most miracles are actually created with in us. Surprised? It is our wills, and petitions, and soul dream boards that are Spirits organically project into the universe via the principle of the Law of Attraction, while the Universe multiplies it and forms it into a physical shape we can experience in our lifetime.
Though first, we must surrender. We must have faith. We must be brave. We must believe.
Today’s frequency סיט (Samech Yud Tet) reminds us of the miracles available to us when we open up to the power of the Ha-Shem within us. Just a little spark of self-awareness — a seed of a desire for personal transformation — will ignite an internal revolution of exquisiteness. And סיט is here, helping us ride this revolution.
Visualize this Holy permutation to be the magic rug of the Djinn that uplifts us, racing high into heavens studded with possibilities most precious, that are ours to enjoy. Rightfully! Ours, if we allow ourselves to accept them. If we allow our sense of worthiness to soar into the aurora of miraculous change, this ever-evolving moment offers us.
To help you practice writing in Hebrew, I recorded this short video:
So remember, foxy, you deserve the best!
Please join me for a Live Daily Draw on my Facebook Page tomorrow at 3 PM Central time!
Need a little intuitive boost, foxy? You got it!
Today’s Daily Draw is all about enhancing your psychic abilities, and then some. The combination of letters אני (Alef Nun Yod), which also makes the word “Ani” in Hebrew, that means I or I am, represents the power of prophesy, the ability to foresee that which hasn’t taken place yet, and even getting a glimpse of that which is happening in other dimensions and realms. Pretty intense, I know!
Check out this recording below, of a Facebook Live Draw I offer daily on my page to learn more about this specific combination from the 72-Names Cards, as well as hear my teaching about the importance of personal ethics in the business of fortunetelling and spiritual services.
Generally, on a more mundane level, אני, is about perspective. Today your ability to tae a few steps backward to see the big picture is heightened. But there’s more!!!! If you’ve been having issues with staying focused, today is the perfect day to retry that centering excessive because it will be much easier to focus on very small, but paramount in importance, detail. A single seed to a whole garden of opportunity, if you will. So much potency is present within today’s Name.
The more difficult aspect of this draw, however, is the probability of you foreseeing an upcoming problem in another person’s life, having to navigate the gap of difference between absolute clarity on your part and a complete lack there of on theirs. How do you tell them what’s going to happen in a productive and supportive way, without freaking them out or upsetting the status quo?
My suggesting is meditating on the holy frequency of אני, it has great potencies and could grant you both, high wisdom — think clearly hearing ancestral advice, and using it in decision making process — and heightened intuition. The gematria value of today’s Name is 61, by the way.
Finally, אני is a great focal point for meditation if your are a psychic or a student of the divinatory arts, to help you being able to tune in into your Higher Self, and stay protected attempting to connect with and contact higher spiritual frequencies and other-worldly intelligences.
I figured you’d like to test out the potency of this Holy combo on your own, so I made a video for you to help you write it out.
See you tomorrow in another Live Facebook Draw!
Happy Mercury-Day, foxy!
If you are somehow involved in modern spiritual affairs, you must have heard about working with your “shadow-self,”or about discovering your own darkness, which basically means allowing yourself to dwell in those subconscious places your ego firmly attempts to cockblock. (yes… I just used this term on my blog! lol)
Well, today you might just find yourself in that realm, Dorothy! And it’s totally appropriate. In fact, I am all for it. With the Moon still being so full and round, there’s plenty of external and inner-world illumination, so we don’t feel completely lost in the realms of personal bondage, addiction, and shame. Because guess what the פהל permutation, from the 72 Names of G-d, is all about? Yup, it’s about liberating oneself from the sticky and, quite often, shameful bondage of negative habits, harmful lusts, and destructive ambitions.
If you’d like to hear about today’s draw more in depth, here’s a recording of the Live Broadcast from my Facebook Page. I also gave a teaching about the correlation of this card to the frequency of the Devil card in the Tarot system, and the mirroring of The Lovers card into The Devil card. If you are a student of divination, then you are especially going to enjoy watching the video!
I thought it was fascinating how well this specific vibration tied into tonight’s Fit+Foxy Episode, where Mr. Fit and I discussed the ramifications of self-doubt on our personal growth. You can take a listen to the episode here.
Furthermore, the most difficult part of this journey is that you’ve got to take it on your own. We all do! Remember that you are taking this descend to learn of your destructive attachments to gain self-awareness — to improve, grow, and ultimately master your experience!
“Once you become the master of your thoughts,” says, Orna Ben Shoshan, “you will be able to change bad habits and guide yourself to success.” (The 72 Name Cards booklet, P. 25).
I also recorded this short video below, to assist you practicing writing the Hebrew letters of this Holy Name, if you so desire:
Tomorrow, December 15th, I’ll be holding another Live session at 2 PM Central, and I hope you’ll join me!!!
The best way to keep up with my Daily Draws and get notified when I am Live is to subscribe to the Live Videos on my Facebook Page.
I truly hope this daily draw helped shedding light onto some internally dense planes that needed love and attention. Remember, we never judge. We are being critical though, so that we can increase self-awarness, and through that become more complete and happy individuals.
Today, on our Live Daily Draw broadcast, I was thrilled to bring forth the message of Love! Yup, today’s divine wisdom from the 72-names is מיה (pronounced Mem Yod Hey), and it’s all about bonding, melting together, harmonizing, and uniting forces. The Gematria value of this permutation is 55.
In fact, if you want to summarize this vibration in a single word, it is Unity!
Below is a brief summary of today’s draw. Moreover, for your convince I have included the full recording of the Live Daily Draw. And I am adding another little clip, helping you practice writing מיה in Hebrew because my Spirit Guide, the Primordial Gloss Fox, has graciously channelled into me a Full Moon in Gemini Harmony Ritual, and so I have shared it in today’s Live Broadcast as well.
If your concerns are of a romantic nature, you are about to hit it on with a person of great emotional and sexual compatibility. On the other hand, if that someone foxy is already by your side, the a passionate encounter is in the air tonight under this bright, and sharp Full Moon in Gemini.
If your inquiries are about business, a creative project, or your social sphere — same is true, just on a platonic level.
Generally, folks are more positive, enthused, and connected today. Co-workers are more willing to support you, friends are going to uplift you, and creative projects will benefit greatly from partnerships and collabs.
Today is all about vibing on the perfect wavelength, with the right crowd.
As, Orna Ben-Shoshan, notes in her The 72 Names Cards interpretation book, today’s success comes “through a union with a compatible person.” (P. 48)
Here’s how you write in Hebrew:
Enjoy tonight’s magnificent Full Moon, foxes!
How are your 2017 resolutions look? Need some guidance about what’s coming up for you? No problem, I’m all for helping you out. So, here, follow this link, and do yourself a big, foxy favor and book a reading. Knowledge s power power!
If you’ve been following this blog or my Facebook page several years ago, you know that I’ve raved about The Wild Unknown tarot way before it became an item on every reader and their sister’s list. The fab deck created by a multidisciplinary artist, Kim Krans, who among other things is a singer in the Family Band, with her partner Arjan Miranda, was an immediate iCandy for me. But in addition to having a revolutionary aesthetic, the cards also read like a mofo. In any case, I really shouldn’t say much more about this pack because we all have it and love it. If you haven’t watched the video to their single, Moonbeams, though, you really should.
The news coming from house of The Wild Unknown is their
own Incense Collection. I enjoy burning incense during my divination sessions, and find this to be a transformative agent that helps not only to connect with Spirit, but also provides a means of shaking off spiritual funk that weighs down consultations and our own selves into the pits of unnerving gravity, so my hyper, triple-Gemini self just couldn’t not share these news with the world.
[Shameless plug in — if you need your cards read or your fortune told, go to www.MadameNadia.com/Readings and book a session with me. I promise you it will be fabulously life-transforming]
The two scents currently offered are Nag Champa Blossoms, Sacred Sandalwood, and the cost is $16 per (a little overpriced in my opinion).
So, even though I haven’t yet tried these puppies myself, I am sharing a link to the sales page with y’all.
If you get a chance to sniff these new olfactory creations before I do, please let me know your thoughts in a the comment section below.
(Disclaimer, I haven’t received any free merch, or was asked to promote the product)
La Vera Sibilla cards have been sort of an obsession of mine for almost a year now. It’s a fascinating, pack of 52 fortunes that is read upright and reversed. Each card sports a small square on the left, top corner, with pip inserts corresponding to suits and numbers of a traditional playing cards deck, as well as two “lottery” numbers at the bottom of each card. Like other “sentimental”* packs, La Vera Sibilla look like a not-so-far-removed cousin to the “The Parlor Sibyl” family.
Learning how to read the Sibillas has been challenging. Firstly, I do not speak Italian. And secondly, when you finally find access to the cards’ definitions, there is a ridiculous amount of meanings to memorize for each card. So far the 52 shady ladies of La Vera Sibilla pack turned out to be consistently and unapologetically on point — just like I like it.
If you’d like to experience the Sibillas in action, I’d be thrilled if you tune in to the Lucky Mojo Rootwork Hoodoo Hour show, today, Sunday, May 29th, over on blogtalk. The show airs at 5:00 PM Central Time. I will be filling-in for Miss Cat, and co-hosting the show, reading fortunes, and prescribing conjure remediations alongside ConjureMan Ali. The show is also archived, and available for later listen over on on iTunes.
Hope to see you in the chatroom ❤
Please let me know if you’d like to read more about my experience with La Vera Sibilla, or see sample readings.
- Sentimental decks refer to oracle decks that were read primarily by women, for women. The readings were centered primarily on romantic
Last week I finally got to accomplish a spiritual task I was planning for a long while. But due to a busy schedule — conjure clients, a masters degree, a family, and all that jazz — I had to wait for a summer break in order to build a divination altar. It took me about 5 days from the point of starting to clean and prep the area where I was planning to erect it, to actually having a functional sacred space for devotion and inspiration.
I was taken by surprise when, after posting a picture of my newly constructed fortunetelling shrine, I got many questions about it from folks over social media. After thinking about it I realized that indeed I haven’t seen many images of divination before.
What I call a divination altar is a space dedicated to the Spirits I work with when I read fortunes. By honoring my Spirits regularly, my connection with them deepens, and my divination skills improve. Not every one works with Spirits, or knows their Spirits, or is aware of a presence of such energies while divining — and it’s perfectly fine. This is just the way I do it, and how my practice had unfolded throughout the years. In fact, now that I think about it, building this shrine in a first place was a mission given to me by my Spirits of Divination.
Building altars has its own aesthetic. Every one does it their way. And my technique, even if originally my intention was keeping it clean and functional, turns into a sensory overload painted in the colors of a bordello. Really, I shouldn’t even try fighting it anymore. lol
The pieces on the altar are images, photographs and statuary that has special meaning to me or to my Spirits. For instance, last May, while teaching at the Hoodoo Heritage Festival, I was presented by the sweet, Coastside Conjure, with a beautiful shingle sign made by Carnivalia. Since I am not reading in person, I knew I wanted this large beauty to be the backdrop for my altar. I also keep a few beautiful containers with graveyard dirt — one of them contains dirt from Mlle. Lenormand’s grave site, another precious gift I received from a talented colleague and friend, Balthazar Conjure.
A cool water container, glass
In addition, I keep a few card decks and other, special to me, divination and magickal tools either on display or hidden. One of these is my first Thoth deck that also happens to be the oldest reading deck in my possession (as opposed to the vintage decks in my collection). The only deck I owned prior to the above mentioned cards was a Rider Waite Smith I purchased at the age of 15. However, these cards were left at Ma Kali’s feet as part of my initiation offering some 10 years ago. And of course, there are candle holders and an incense brazier placed securely among bones, furs, shells, magickal goodies, and a central piece — a glass for water. I must boast that this cool container is also a present from a friend and a student, Dean from QuickSilver Conjure. I do have awesome friends! ❤
The purpose of this post was more to share my thought process and approach to altar building and fortunetelling, than giving you an instructional bulletin. I hope that some of you find this information meaningful, and apply it to your own fortunetelling practices.
If you have questions, please post them in the comments section or on my Facebook page.

In fact, I clearly remember sitting on top of my father’s heavy, writing desk, as I spent hours upon hours looking through a fancy deck of playing cards that I would secretly retrieve from the top right drawer, where he kept it alongside a plastic sample pacemaker (… don’t ask… ), and other trinkets I cannot recall anymore.
Those cards had traditional-looking pips, and I can’t remember anything really significant about those. But the face cards… The face cards is a whole other story! They were glorious.
Elegantly dressed with some German flare to their coats, the face cards seemed to look straight at me each time I would pull one. Liberally, the picture cards shared with me stories of old kings, regal queens, and boisterous knaves. They even gossiped about one another, whispering into my mind’s ear about embarrassing moments unworthy of royalty. Their tales echoed in the castles of my young imagination. And as these face cards danced out their royal affairs right next to me, their glossy card stock stood out against the deep brown of my father’s old writing desk.
I spent many days with that deck, handling it with love, admiration, and fascination.
Many years have passed since, and I never thought I’d see those cards again. That lovely deck, as other non-essential belongings, had to be left behind the iron curtain as we immigrated from USSR to Israel in 1988.
But the great appreciation of the intimately pleasing, almost tingly, sensation I got when I shuffled through that deck of playing cards has never wore off. As I went through cartomantic puberty, in my late teens and early twenties, I developed farther the tingly skill of caressing my decks; running my hands along the edges, shuffling papery leaves in between my fingers, and the scent of vintage paper — all of these are sensory triggers for me. Though I admit that some decks do it for me more than others 😉
Fast forward to late 2013 — 25 years later. I look through an online card archive — not an unusual activity for a card addict… ahem… collector, like myself.
And boom! I recognize one of my old idols.
Holding my breath in disbelief I wonder.
“Is it her? Is it really her? No way! Impossible.”
“Oh my God! It’s her!”
The Queen of Clubs looks at me mischievously, glaring like a computer screen supernova in the unsuspecting darkness of my bedroom. Not a sign of aging on her perfect card face.
The coquettish Queen seems to recognize me.
“Do you really remember me? Even after all these years?”
The thing is, this Queen and I both know that her headdress is the one single, last detail still etched perfectly in my memory. A detail that became associated with a happy, magical, and wholesome part of my childhood. A detail I refuse to let go of — holding on to it like to a life vest, and painting it and again again in a melancholic coat of sweet-stale memories — so it contrasts against the canvas of passing time that starches over new geography of experiences, lined with a multitude of insignificant encounters with significantly less royal packs of cards.
But the Queen of Clubs doesn’t care. She, as any self-respecting queen would, knows that one never forgets her first love. Never!
Although not an original, but a reproduction, I now have in my possession a double pack of Prince Karte No. 402, originally manufactured by the legendary Dondorf company.
What can I say? I feel pretty damn lucky!
I am a procrastinator, and there’s no point denying it. But to defend myself I must disclose that even though I took the interview with Amelie over a year ago, around last Christmas my house was broken into and my laptop stolen. Along with the computer, an almost fully edited video of this interview was also gone.
So it took me a long time to get back into editing it from scratch. I really wanted to complete this piece because I felt that Amelie and I had an amazing, almost magical, connection; and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her about various things in addition to her gorgeous and fun deck. I found Amelie to be warm, funny, and inspiring. I adore her art, and find her cards to be so very different than anything else on the market. Both her attitude and her creations are fresh and upbeat. Not like many other decks that heavily draw upon, and too often completely reproduce, the same old RWS pattern, etc. “Madame Duberckowski’s Fortune Telling Cards” is a stand-alone oracle with nothing remotely resembling it on the market.
I hope you enjoy my tale of finding the deck online, connecting with Amelie, and eventually asking her a few questions about what made her create such a unique pack of cards.
